Sneham organized a Talent Appreciation Day on September 8, 2007 involving competitive activities for all age-groups. We offered opportunity for the community to showcase their talent in skills such as Cooking, Kolam, Drawing, Quiz, Debate, Singing, Speech, Chess, etc. In addition, we held a registration program for the South Asian Bone Marrow Registry, and signed-up 21 prospective donors.

In cooperation with the Toastmasters International, Sneham is organizing a “Youth Leadership Program” to help our young develop leadership skills. The program consists of eight weekly sessions. Twenty two (22) middle and high school students have applied to join the program which is expected to start in late January 2008.

In addition to its primary mission to be a “fun” organization, Sneham wants to serve, albeit in a small way, the local Community of which it is a part. It will organize, either alone or in cooperation with charitable organizations, activities that would benefit members of our local community. It has established a “community bulletin board” in its website where members can access information on community needs and help meet such needs on an individual basis.
